DYKSHORN NEW LEADER OF IOWA STATE DAIRY ASSOCIATION

Iowa State Dairy Association Annual Meeting

ANKENY, IA – January 12, 2007 – Wayne Dykshorn, Ireton, was elected the new President of the Iowa State Dairy Association (ISDA) by the Board of Directors at the ISDA Annual Meeting on January 9 in Waverly. The Sioux County dairy producer follows previous board president, Scott Niess of Osage, in leading the organization.

In addition to a new president, the ISDA welcomed three new board members: Gary Bishop, dairy producer from West Union, Peggy Dierickx, Director of the Northeast Iowa Community-Based Dairy Foundation in Calmar, and Jim Schmitt, dairy producer from Sherrill. Board members serve a three-year term.
