The Iowa State Dairy Association
uses a unified voice to take firm stands on statewide
dairy issues. We speak for the members through
active lobbying efforts and representation
throughout the state. We work with the Environmental
Protection Agency, Iowa Department of Ag and Land Stewardship,
Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Iowa Natural Resources
Conservation Service, Iowa State University, USDA and
all Iowa farm organizations.

Many rural areas would not survive without the dairy
infrastructure. Each dairy cow brings over $2,000 to
your local community from milk production alone. Economic
activity generated from prices paid for all of the services
you use is well over $13,000 per cow! You can see why
the ISDA is so passionate about keeping our dairy infrastructure
in place and keeping you in business!
